We are proud to be part of the Castrol Service Network and pride ourselves in using Castrol oils in every service (where applicable). 

We offer fixed rate servicing (discounted when carried out at the same time as an MOT) and a fixed labour rate. 

There are no hidden charges, such as sundries, environmental charges or disposal charges.  When we use brake cleaner, copper grease or spray grease or if we need to top up your coolant or screen wash levels you will not be charged extra for them.  

We will provide you with a fixed price, inclusive of VAT, so there are no surprises when you collect your vehicle.

Our technicians work alongside the latest equipment, technical data and tools so that we can work on almost all vehicle makes and models. 

How We Service

We offer five service options which are explained in detail below: Oil Change, Vehicle Health Check, Interim Service, Standard Service and Manufacturers Service Schedule. 

Once we have completed all the checks and know about the condition of your vehicle, we have reached the “halfway” stage.  If we have identified any issues during our checks, it's at this point that we will contact you to discuss your options.  We will not carry out any additional work without your prior knowledge and permission.  

If we have not contacted you until the service is finished, your vehicle is fully serviceable with no immediate issues. 

Oil Change      (from £45.00 plus oil)

The oil is drained from the engine, the sump bung washer is replaced, and a new oil filter is fitted.  The oil change counter is reset on the dashboard and your service book is stamped as “Oil Change Only”. 

You can choose to add a Castrol Engine Shampoo at an additional cost.

Vehicle Health Check       (£45.00 inc VAT)

A 30-point check – washers topped up, if required.

This check is ideal before a long journey and in between the annual service.  Checks include,

  • Front and rear wipers and washers
  • Lights all round
  • Horn operation
  • Seat belt operation
  • Air conditioning system and blower fan
  • Battery check under load and alternator output
  • Brake fluid level and boiling point
  • TPMS Sensors are checked (a full report is provided)
  • Tyre pressures (adjusted as application) and tread depths measured
  • Exhaust condition
  • Steering and suspension components, including wheel bearings.

This vehicle health check can be combined with the above oil change.

Interim Service      (£160.00 plus oil)

A 60-point check plus engine oil and oil filter change – levels are topped up, if required.

This service is designed to alternate with our Standard Service.  Checks include,

  • Front and rear wipers and washers
  • Lights all round
  • Horn operation
  • Seat belt operation
  • Air conditioning system and blower fan
  • Battery check under load and alternator output
  • Brake fluid level and boiling point
  • Exhaust condition
  • Steering and suspension components, including wheel bearings
  • TPMS Sensors are checked (a full report is provided)
  • Tyre pressures (adjusted as application) and tread depths measured
  • All wheels removed for a visual inspection of rear brake discs and pads; if drums are fitted an exterior inspection is carried out
  • Front brakes are cleaned, measured and lubricated with the caliper sliders checked and piston dust covers inspected
  • All door locks and hinges are lubricated

*Additional filters, spark plugs, and an engine flush are charged separately if required.

Standard Service      (£230.00 plus oil)

An 80-point check plus engine oil and oil and cabin filter change – levels are topped up, if required.  A Castrol Engine Shampoo is added to old oil before draining.

This service includes all the checks within our Interim Service plus the rear brakes are cleaned, measured and lubricated.  The engine fault codes are read and cleared with a full report provided. Headlight alignment is checked and adjust if needed. The transmission oil levels are checked.

*Additional filters and spark plugs are charged separately if required.

Manufacturers Service Schedule       (price dependant on service required)

If your car or van is still covered by the manufacturers warranty, we recommend staying with their service schedule.  We can access this and service your vehicle accordingly.  A no obligation quotation will be provided before work commences.

*Every manufacturer recommends air & fuel filter and spark plug replacement at different intervals, this is why they are not included in the cost of our Interim or Standard Service.  This avoids you paying to replace these parts when they are not needed.
